Progressive Real Estate has posted a revised webpage for its future 180 Creek Bend Road apartments. The building is now depicted 5 stories high, as originally approved by the City of Winnipeg. Progressive RE has attempted to hedge its bets regarding accuracy with the disclaimer…
“Renderings are meant for illustrative purposes only. Finishings may be subject to change.”
This is surprising as the building plans have already been approved by the Riel Community Committee. Building plans should be quite fixed by now, if not only for the purposes of competitive construction bidding.
I could mention that there are still accuracy issues with the four-story wings of the building as depicted, the front sidewalk being shown without a boulevard, the imaginary grassy quad in front of the parking lot, but noting that would not be in the spirit of… “Renderings are meant for illustrative purposes only. Finishings may be subject to change.”
I do have to wonder about one thing, though. The Spring of 2028 is not as far away as it once was. Shouldn’t they be starting their building construction soon?
