The CBRA provides information for, and advocates on behalf of, the residents of the Creek Bend Road area.
From before incorporation as a non-profit, CBRA has been active in this work, as can be seen on the Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/628681575388685
Today, we are concerned with issues such as the apartment construction at 180 Creek Bend Rd, as well as the construction of more apartments or condos at 1269 St Anne’s Rd.
More immediately, we are gathering information and advocating in the Precinct K area, especially the move by Qualico Developments and their as planning agency, Landmark, to proceed with development of the area. This development will include items such as widening Creek Bend Rd, (now with a new 2-lane bridge over the Seine River), developing (who knows where?) the crossing of the Canadian Pacific Kansas City railway, and more.
Condominium homeowners are represented by their Condo Boards. The investment for access to the information and ability to advocate is a mere $5 per year ($0.42 per month) per ‘door’. If your condo corporation is not yet registered as an active member with the CBRA, you may wish to approach your Board and request such membership.
