Progressive Real Estate reports that construction of their new apartment block will commence before the new year. Their website occupancy date has been changed to Fall 2028. The good news is that they are legally obligated to continue the gravel Seine River Greenway Active Transportation Path from the Creek Bend Road Bridge to the existing pathway behind Creek Bend Hollow. (After construction is completed I imagine.) The sad news is that the line of trees currently separating the Hollow from the new parking lot will probably be coming down soon. Our thanks to the community members who unsuccessfully fought to save the trees. As to the politicians who committed to develop new City parks along the Seine River, be assured we will remember that election promise next year.
